Some Do's and Dont's features to score a high rank for your webpage / site in Google YAHOO! or other kind of web search, try to follow the given tips below :-
- Use the HTML tags : TITLE tags, META tags, title attributes on the HREF tags in a proper way, and avoid putting important information in images (use ALT attributes on the image tags when you do).
- Avoid Shockwave, Real, MP3 or Flash (unless these formats are "in addition" to the HTML version of the information.)

- Google determines the weight / PR / page rank of a website based on the number of "back links" i.e by the pages that are pointing to your site. - Avoid IMAGE Links - Google ranks a page based on the words and information in the back links. An image linking a webpage score lower in Google, because information within an image is unavailable to the Googlebot. If you use image links , then you must use alt="description" in the <image> tag.
